Every year, the world adds approximately 50 Gigatonnes of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, trapping heat and running up global temperatures.
Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) is innovative technology that reverse the effects of greenhouse gases.

Carbon sequestration is the process of capturing and storing carbon dioxide CO₂. It is one method of reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and with the goal of reducing global climate change.
CCUS can play an important role in the transition to net zero. As a carbon capture and storage technique, CCUS involves collecting CO2 emissions, using them for other purposes, then storing whatever cannot be used.
CO₂ capturing and geological sequestration is one of the most effective solutions to limit the rise in the global temperature to below 2°C by 2050.
Storage Type
Why now?
Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018, signed into law Feb 9,
2018, made numerous changes to section 45Q tax
credits of the IRC, giving up to $50 per tonne of CO₂ captured and stored.
Recent tax incentives and policy initiatives, mainly in the US and Europe, create a credible near-term investment opportunity in industries where the cost of CCS is relatively low. These include industries with concentrated CO₂ emissions, which are easier to capture, including natural gas processing, ammonia production, ethanol production, hydrogen production, DAC - direct air capture and other petrochemicals.
